United Nations Population Fund collaborated with Institute for Social and Economic Change (Bangalore), Institute of Economic Growth (Delhi) and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai) - to conduct primary survey on  socio-economic status, health and living conditions of the elderly. To encourage young researchers, data was shared for deeper analysis and the working paper series II brings out specific areas of investigations about the lives of the elderly.
