United Nations Population Fund collaborated with Institute for Social and Economic Change (Bangalore), Institute of Economic Growth (Delhi) and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai) - to conduct primary survey on  socio-economic status, health and living conditions of the elderly.
