Adolescents are at risk of early and unwanted pregnancy, of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV/AIDS, and vulnerable to the dangers of tobacco use, alcohol and other drugs. The objective of the Consultation was to firm up the operational guidelines, particularly in terms of components related to training, service delivery, communication, quality standards and monitoring.
